I do not like this show one bit. I have tried watching it several times and have not laughed once.....and I am half-mexican and grew up around my dad's family so one would think that I might find at least part of this show funny. Sadly I agree that this is a Chappelle-show-rip-off......kind of like the Norm McDonald show is (or was....I've on ly seen it once).

What are you talking about? The first link gives an overview. The last link goes into great technical detail. You have to click the links and read more than just the first page.

I'm a teacher who has brought his class every year to MacWorld. We always come on Friday. I don't think that any booths close down on Friday until the late afternoon. My kids like the fact that vendors are more willing to give away free stuff on Fridays.

So...I don't think it would be a waste of your time.

Lau, you need QuickTime 7 to view H.264 content.

Depending on the type of content, change your codec to something like Sorenson Video 3 you'll take a size hit, but it should work fine.

If you do a little bit of searing, you can see some pretty cool videos by people using nothing but iPhones, especially the iphone4.

Has anyone here played with the iPhone 4 to do some videos?

I recently did a little short film using my iPhone 4. I attached my Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens to it (so I can do rack focusing) using a 35mm adapter onto an OWLE Bubo (http://www.wantowle.com/). Here was the results:

I have never heard of a "Privacy Policy" ... if it is legit, every landlord would only have to give the tenant 24 hours notice to show the unit to a future tenant.

I would walk away from this unit and keep looking ... saving a few bucks by paying lots of money up-front could end bad for you.

being so far away ... maybe a reputable rental agent who works for an established RealEstate company is your best bet.

You do not want to show up on moving day and find out that you have nowhere to stay and now be in Manhattan.

There is a minor difference - the new iMacs have an ambient light sensor which will provide ideal brightness whether you are in a dark or well-lit environment.

If you manually set the brightness, does it return? Perhaps the display was set too bright/dim for the conditions?

From Apple's site: "To conserve power and relieve eyestrain, a built-in ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the screen brightness on MacBook, MacBook Pro and iMac to suit the ambient light of whatever room you�re in."

They can now be purchased online as well in all parts of the country for $249 through AT&T (there's no contract when buying the phone, either), there's a thread about it in the iPhone news forum. So I think that price would be very optimistic, as anyone on here could get one for $249 and have it unlocked in twenty minutes.

Also, if it's a refurb, why does it come in the packaging for new phones? IIRC, refurb iPhones come in brown boxes...

Your best bet is ebay, especially if you want prices like that.

It's not the number of Megapixels, but the sensor size. Jamming that many MPs into a tiny sensor will not give you a good camera

True.
An 8MP cam with with a better lens will destroy it.

Cameraphones will always be a bit gimped purely because of their size and multifunction nature.
I had the 12MP SE Satio for a couple of months and it was good for a phone but my old 7MP compact camera with a better lens blew it away.

I have saved some PDFs with iBooks, and when viewing them the colors are switched or just wrong. I have attached pictures to help show the issue rather me just describing it. But black images in MBP PDF are white on the iPhone PDF in iBooks, and white images in MBP PDS are black/dark on iPhone PDF.

The PDF as viewed on my MBP is saved as original.jpg and the view from iPhone is saved as iphone.png

Any ideas how to fix the coloring issue so they appear correctly in iBooks?
